Ian McParland is firmly focussed on strengthening Notts County`s attacking options this summer.

While the Magpies manager is still working on recruiting in other positions, strikers are his main priority.

McParland has publicly expressed his desire to sign former Ipswich striker Billy Clarke, and is continuing his pursuit of the Irishman.

He told the club`s official website: "I am focussing very hard on bringing in a centre forward to score the goals for us because that was what was missing for us last season at times.

"I am looking to change that now and bring in one or two strikers to add to what we already have, but I am not dismissing other positions because they are very much in my mind as well."
