Watford have added a glamorous friendly with Italian side Parma to their pre-season schedule.

Parma, who were promoted back to Serie A last season after a year outside the top flight, will run out at Vicarage Road on Saturday, August 1.

Meanwhile, the club have announced a new two-year sponsorship deal with American television manufacturer Evolution HDTV.

Hornets chairman Jimmy Russo said: "I'm over the moon that we have managed to attract Evolution to Watford in a sponsorship deal which is bucking the downturn trend in football at the minute."
