Liverpool managed a 1-1 draw with Polish side Wisla Krakow in Fribourg, Switzerland on Saturday evening.Rafael Benitez's side took the lead when Andriy Voronin scored just six minutes into the match, reacting quickly to reach a rebound from his own shot.

However, the Poles equalised six minutes later when Tomas Jirsak put the ball past new boy Diego Cavalieri in the Liverpool goal.

Fellow new signing Andrea Dossena also got a run-out for the Reds.

  5. Pitty liverpoll got the owner that never going to use their money to buy a world class player. For me the yanks are not suitable to own the club coz they didn't have the guts to strenghten the club not like the other club owner. How come mancity owner dr thaksin can buy such a big player like ronaldhino, if we make a comparison maybe the yanks are most cappable to do that. But maybe they dont love the club very much and only like to do bussiness then maybe that's the reasons why? Those liverpool fans what do you think?

  12. shiver up and down the spine ,,,wardster could be on to some thing. a player of this sort should be having probs getting in the bedroom with all the medals and gongs in there. He wants to be in with a shout for a Pl medal and who can blame him. One of the best get rid of the yanks and get some cash back in the club.

  14. I could not see Torres getting sold ,but I got to agree it was a sad day when those Yanks came in. with the world economy going down the tubes I hope they have to seel and we get someone else in. I dont mind who as long as they are l.f.c. fans first and foremost.

About what halimevergreen said, its true that they haven't used any of the money, coz they bought 3 cheap players that most people would never have heard of; Degen, Dossena and Cavalieri, but theres no way that they'd sell Torres for the money. If anything thats what they'll do with Alonso. I've already told every one that I know about this, but Liverpool seriously should get David Villa and David Silva. That would complete Liverpool in an attacking sense completely!

  16. we are disappointed with the new us owner of liverpool fc. they did not spent a single penny so far for securing player. it is disturbing news for the lfc fan that f. torres might be sold out to chealsea just for money. these two owner should not be allowed to land in liverpool in future. also role of rick perry needs to be evaluated.
