A chain malfunction in the last climb of the 187.5-kms 15th stage derailed Andy Schleck's Tour de France chances and allowed rival Alberto Contador to grab the yellow jersey.
Contador gained 39 seconds after riding flat out with fellow Spaniard Samuel Sanchez and Russian Denis Menchov to take the yellow jersey by eight seconds.
However, Schleck was clearly not happy that his rivals used his misfortune as an excuse to attack.
"My stomach is full of anger and I will take my revenge," said Schleck
"It's not really nice but what can I say," added Schleck, before saying Contador, Menchov and Sanchez would not win the "fair play prize" for their move.
Is the Luxembourg man right to complain? In the interests of sportsmanship should Contador have waited till Schleck had his chain back on? Or did the fact that the incident happened while Schleck was on the attack himself make him fair game for a counter attack?
