Charlton Athletic new-boy Nicky Bailey is looking forward to repaying Addicks manager Alan Pardew's faith in him.The 24-year-old signed from Southend for £750,000 and was thrown straight into the starting line-up for Saturday's defeat against Watford.
Bailey hopes he can retain his place in the side but knows every game will be tough in the Championship.
He told the club's official website: "It's obviously nice the manager put me straight in against Watford. Hopefully I can repay him with some good performances and be in the team next week.
"I don't think there are any easy games in this league. We've just got to make sure we're up for it, stay focused and try and do the business on the pitch."

Charlton are ripe for the drop this season. No quality signings -- only outgoing sales. Why? Does Pardew really think the pathetic remants of last season's failures can beat championship sides who have spent wisely on bolstering their squads?
As a lifelong Charlton supporter I am terribly disappointed.
