Veteran striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink says he has one more year of professional football in him as he seeks to secure one final contract. The 36-year-old is currently without a club after leaving Cardiff City, but is training with Norwich in a bid to improve match fitness.
Canaries boss Glenn Roeder has gone public with his desire to sign a striker, although former Leeds and Chelsea striker Hasselbaink claims he is just working on his fitness and not a deal at Carrow Road.
"I'm just training there at the moment to keep myself fit," he told Sky Sports on his Norwich stay.
"I would like to play another year, but at the moment I've not had a pre-season and I've missed out on a lot of football so I'm just keeping myself fit."

at least he might not miss two open goals like that Italian Muppet we've got up front at the moment! I'd take the risk and sign him.
im sorry to say it but Hasselbaink is just to old to be a starting striker , the fitness judt isn't there for him to play a full game, roeder needs to do much better and find someone to score the goals norwich despretly need
