Plymouth have raided Premier League champions Manchester United to sign defensive duo David Gray and James Chester on three-month loan deals.
Gray returns to Home Park after a similar spell last season, while Chester enjoyed a loan stint with Peterborough during the last campaign.
Gray, 20, is a Scotland Under-21 international who joined United from Hearts four years ago, while Chester, also 20, has been with United since he was eight.
Both players go into Plymouth's squad for Saturday's trip to Newcastle.
Plymouth are still without defensive pair Darcy Blake and Reda Johnson who are strugglnig with hamstring and knee problems respectively.

You were unlucky today at Newcastle. This is coming from a Newcastle fan and season ticket holder. If your team puts in this amount of effort all season, there's no reason why you shouldn't be playing Championship football again next season. Also. Respect for bringing so many travelling supporters, so far, up to Newcastle. I'll keep an eye out for your results. Good luck. GREEN ARMY
