Dany N'Guessan spoiled Heidar Helguson's Watford homecoming as Leicester escaped with a 3-3 draw at Vicarage Road.
Helguson, back with the Hornets on loan from QPR, returned to a hero's welcome and scored twice as Leicester blew a two-goal lead to trail 3-2 in injury time.
But N'Guessan met a cross from fellow substitute Martyn Waghorn with a superb header to deny Watford a third straight victory.
The hosts had trooped off 2-0 down at half-time, courtesy of Matty Fryatt's seventh and eighth goals of the season.
But Danny Graham pulled one back before substitute Helguson took over with a dramatic double, which looked to have wrapped up an unlikely win until N'Guessan's late intervention.

hornets fans are good ppl!! all about the game!
I couldnt believe it 2-0 up at half time and flying, 2 stupid second half minutes crushed all the hard work and when watford took the lead we couldnt believe it, but being Leicester fans we should know better a games never over with us till the whistle blows our boys just dont give up and never have to steal a point right at the end was awesome and great to give the home fans a bit back after they hounded us after half time (rightly so as well) as we hounded them in the first half.. good game and 2 evenly matched teams i thought, Cheers the hornet fans for the pint in the boozer after fair play, see you at the walkers for another cracker...
