Kevin Blackwell admitted the loss of Jamie Ward through injury took some of the gloss of his first Steel City derby win as Sheffield United manager.
Ward fired the Blades' opening goal at Bramall Lane in a rip-roaring 3-2 triumph, but was stretchered away from the action later in the first half and it was later revealed the 23-year-old has torn a hamstring.
Blackwell said: "To lose Ward is a big blow because it means we probably won't have him for five or six weeks.
"Fortunately the international break will take up a couple of those, but he will still miss two or three weeks after that.
"He's on fire at the moment. He took his goal really well. He has goals in him and he's a real threat, so to lose him for six weeks is a blow."
Ward has started in every league game for United this season and has scored four goals.
