The Open champion Stewart Cink has two goals in his sights for this week's end-of-season Grand Slam of Golf in Bermuda.

While victory in the elite, four-man event would cap a golden 2009 campaign, Cink wants to enjoy the next two days at the picturesque Port Royal Golf Course as much as he can.

"It's a great honour to be here," the tall American said after conducting a putting clinic before Tuesday's opening round.

"Obviously, I want to play well and winning would be nice but this is also about having a good time.

"It's both a championship and a celebration of the four of us - the accomplishments of the year and enjoying this beautiful setting."

Cink won his first Major title at the Open in July, ending a fairytale run by 59-year-old veteran Tom Watson with a play-off victory at Turnberry in Scotland.

He was also a member of the triumphant US team at the Presidents Cup in San Francisco this month.

The 36-hole Grand Slam of Golf, billed as 'the most exclusive tournament in golf', brings together the winners of the year's four Majors.

Cink's rivals are compatriot and US Open winner Lucas Glover, Masters champion Angel Cabrera of Argentina and South Korean Yang Yong-eun, surprise winner of the PGA Championship.

The strokeplay event was held in Hawaii from 1991 to 2006 before moving to Bermuda in 2007.
