Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo will miss the Champions League Group G match at Stuttgart because of an infection.

The absence of the Spain international, who is resting at home, means Sevilla travel to Germany with three strikers, Brazilian Luis Fabiano, Arouna Kone of Ivory Coast and Mali's Frederic Kanoute, Sevilla said on their website.

First-choice goalkeeper, Andres Palop, has a calf strain and will also miss the match, the club added.
