World Touring Car Championship drivers James Thompson and Franz Engstler are among the favourites to win the FIA European Touring Car Cup this weekend in Portugal.
Engstler will drive a BMW 320si run by his own Liqui Moly Team Engstler at Braga's Circuito Vasco Samerio, while Thompson will join Hartmann Honda Racing in an Accord.
This season the Briton raced with the team in numerous rounds of the Danish Touring Car Championship, scoring four race wins.
The level of the field of the Super 2000 class in the fifth edition of the ETC Cup is very high, with four manufacturers - BMW, Chevrolet, Honda and SEAT - fighting for the crown.
