Aldershot caretaker manager Jason Dodd has admitted he may have to change the side's footballing philosophy after witnessing a 3-2 defeat at home to Bury on Saturday.
Former boss Gary Waddock earned a move to Wycombe by installing an attacking outlook into the Shots but after conceding poor goals, Dodd is keen to add some resilience.
He said: "Paul Williams and I were both defenders and we've got ideas to put across.
"There is an attacking belief in the team and you don't want to take attacking out of the team. But the players have to understand that when you don't have the ball, there are other duties that you have to do.
"We want goals but there is another side to the game that we need to improve on."
