Belgian rider Bjorn Leukemans faces a two-year ban after his B sample tested positive for the male sex hormone testosterone.
"The result of my B sample has also returned positive," the Predictor-Lotto rider said on his personal website.
The 30-year-old was suspended by the Belgian team when it was revealed last month that he had tested positive for testosterone a few days before the world championships in Stuttgart, Germany.
"Though we have not received a confirmation for his B sample, the rider remains suspended until he is heard by the Belgian authorities," Predictor-Lotto said in a statement.
Leukemans, who finished the world championships road race in 13th position last September, denied any wrongdoing.
"I am innocent," he said on his website.
Leukemans has been summoned to a hearing by the Flemish cycling federation discipline committee on January 10.
His best result this season was fourth place in the Paris-Roubaix classic.
