Huddersfield boss Andy Ritchie felt it was wrong to send off Chris Brandon and Brighton's Gary Hart at the final whistle of their 1-1 draw. The pair were both red carded following a confrontation, but Ritchie had no doubt bookings would have been more appropriate.
"The referee said they head-butted each other but there was no forward motion. They were like two stags in the field," said Ritchie. "Their heads were against each other and there was no claret knocking around. For me, it should have been two bookings and common sense should have prevailed."
Of the game itself, Ritchie was satisfied with a point and said: "A draw was a fair result. We created some good chances and I really felt Phil Jevons had clinched it for us late on when his backheel went just past the post.
"To be honest it wasn't a great game in terms of good football so I am very pleased with a point. It is important for us now to build on the self-belief."
