Swansea manager Roberto Martinez praised his side's character after they bounced back from their FA Cup exit with a 2-0 victory over Port Vale.Goals in either half from Ferrie Bodde and Darren Pratley secured the win and helped the Swans move five points clear at the top of League One.
Martinez said: "We showed character and our heads to use the situation in our favour.
"It could have been difficult but we gave the right reaction to bounce back. It was a bitter blow losing to Havant but we came through in the right manner.
"Port Vale are fighting for their lives yet we never gave them a look in. We were in control from the start and there were no nerves while we waited to break the deadlock and once we did there was no looking back."
