Manchester City have signed Craig Bellamy from West Ham for an undisclosed fee.
The striker put pen to paper on a four-and-half year deal after passing a medical and agreeing personal terms
West Ham have not divulged the exact fee for Bellamy, but it is reportedly worth around £14m.
Bellamy originally wanted to join Tottenham but once West Ham made it clear they were not going to let the striker join their London rivals, he quickly agreed to link up again with countryman Mark Hughes.
"I am delighted to be working with Craig once more," Hughes told the club's official website.
"He is an outstanding player who provides us with qualities that we are slightly lacking.
"He has blistering pace, has bags of of enthusiasm and has a superb attitude to training. He will be a great addition to the squad."

pay him while hes injured pay for surgery nurse him back to playing score three goals thats repaid off he goes as though he owes nothing if theres any justice he will get injured again as soon as he plays for city.
A friend of mine who is a big W.H.U fan told me he'd have sold Bellamy for £14 before city came in with that rediculous bid. The guy is a mercenary, cash appears to be is god. As for city, I think their fans deserve better.
any bets on how much of the four and half year contract Bellamy will serve.

Lovely Jubbly . That is one ARROGANT little MAN and not that good !!!!! Lets hope one of his team mates gives him the slap he deserves , this is NOT sour grapes , never liked him . Like i said before ,LITTLE MAN , GOODBYE , LITTLE MAN .
As a Spurs fan I am so glad that Bellamy did not come to White Hart Lane. Although he is a good player, he is not the type of player we need or want.
MANCHESTER CITY OWNERS-MAKE A BIG CHANGE FAST! OR THIS TEAM WILL GO DOWN HILL, LIKE THAY ALREADY ARE! AMRK HUGHES WAS ONE OF THE BEST MANAGERS IN THE COUNTRY IF NOT IN THE WORLD AT BLACKBURN, HE BOUGHT QUALITY PLAYERS ASWELL AS MAKING NO-NAME PLAYERS INTO SUPERSTARS AND MOST WANTED E.G ROQUE SANTA CRUZ. BUT NOW HE IS UNDER PRESSURE TO DELIVER TROPHYS TO MAN CITY! WHEN DID MAN CITY WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP LAST? WHY MAN CITY? WHY NOT ARSENAL? OR LIVERPOOL? BETTER PLAYERS FAST!, BETTER MANGER FAST!
I'm a hammers fan through and through I've grown up on a diet of Noel Cantwell, John Bond, Andy Malcomb, Ronnie Boyce, Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters, Trever Brooking plus many more I hated the day West Ham signed a thug like Craig Bellamy I hope I don't live to regret saying it but I'm glad to see the back of this man he had no place in my heart or in my vision of a West Ham United team.I'm not a racist or a bigot and I don't hate the Welsh the best keeper we ever had hailed from the valleys. Goodbye Mr Bellamy and good ridance.

what a result thats around half the money we need for our fines soon to be coming up bello is @#$% and maybe things are just starting to look up for us COME ON YOU IRONS
What a joke! He was a really good team Liverpool then to another West Ham and now he goes to the slums of Manchester
AH WELL BELLAMY LAUGHS ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK AGAIN. AFTER 8 CLUBS IN NINE YEARS HE STILL REMAINS MR AVERAGE
I idolize him very much. Just saw him chatting with a girl at____Wealthy beauty co m_____. I am wondering what kind of relationship he is looking for on that site.
Whatever the guy's talent is he really the calibre of player that will launch Man City into a top four club? The move stinks of desperation to relieve their current dilema and woeful position in the premier league. Just based on Bellamy's track record on transfers, court appearances and lets face it, he's joined the 'tattooed i'm as cool a Beckham all down one arm club' a sure indicator at his mental powers!
WHAT A LOAD OF @#$% THAT BELLAMY IS.
