Manchester City have signed Craig Bellamy from West Ham for an undisclosed fee.
The striker put pen to paper on a four-and-half year deal after passing a medical and agreeing personal terms
West Ham have not divulged the exact fee for Bellamy, but it is reportedly worth around £14m.
Bellamy originally wanted to join Tottenham but once West Ham made it clear they were not going to let the striker join their London rivals, he quickly agreed to link up again with countryman Mark Hughes.
"I am delighted to be working with Craig once more," Hughes told the club's official website.
"He is an outstanding player who provides us with qualities that we are slightly lacking.
"He has blistering pace, has bags of of enthusiasm and has a superb attitude to training. He will be a great addition to the squad."

this is the classic case of dream and reality. City dreamt of kaka and realised only a player like bellamy would like to join them now. Robinho was desperate!!
100% profit is not bad business at all. Mind you at what we paid for him, he cost us over a million quid a goal. City with all their wealth will hope of course that he gives them the same kind of return. Whatever shirt he wears, Bellamy has his own colours, the colour of money, so he is at home at last. Good luck to City fans.
Man City are a laughing stock!! Kaka turns them down, Robinho walks out and Bellamy struts in HAHAHAHAHAHAHA is it April 1st already, you just have to laugh at it all. Bellamy is a good player but for a club like Man City who are trying to stamp their name on world football, this isnt exactly the way to go. They should be approaching Messi, Ronaldo, Villa and ALL the top players in the world. NOT the likes of Bellamy. Also in question is Mark Hughes ability to manage the worlds richest club, its like a learner driver at the wheel of a Lamborghini
Well done Man City you've taken him off our hands not badly priced for a 29 year old who really hasn't cut it with any team he's been with.
we started shopping at selfridges and ending up buying at a car boot sale-disillusonedblue
I'm happy to see Hughes has replaced Kaka with Bellamy?
I reckon next the will try and sign Messi but end up with Robbie Savage!
Mugpits, you should be called MUPPET.
Why do you add anything on these forums? All you do is try and shock or promote another team. Can you not just try and show some inteligent views?
Who cares what your team is anyway, save it for the playground. Maybe you are ony 12-13 years old as that is quality of your input every time.
man city is going to be a losing team and the reason is that they want to buy everybody forgetting that only 11 players play on te field and when they buy all these players and some sits on the bench thn it create problems so man city is rising for the fall they will have
I'm so happy that kaka listened to our star ambassador, his royal, golden balls becks.
I'm happy that robinho has started the walking away stints.
I'm happy that looserpool are busy dropping points.
I'm convinced beyond repair that its better being a red manchester fan than a blue madcity player. Spank sparky.
When God created man, He gave him the authority to make money...but God never gave that mancity the authority to use money as a trap to shove those in love to separate. Kaka belongs to God, Jesus Christ, Milan and his dad. And in this line of ownership there's no moneycity but there's love city.

What a joke City are buying Bellamy the guys gotta serious attitude problem i wonder what Robhino's gonna make of him i bet fergies cracking right up all that money and they go for dopey Bellamy Mark Hughes must fancy him or something must be a welsh thing
mercenary
how many times as bellamy moved to a new club? he can't play he's a @#$% just like that cellan j.
craig bellamy is a disgrace, 14 million for him, i wonder how much he will make out of it, because lets face it he,s not gone there to win trophies, he,s a parasite and a scumbag.
hhhhhmmmmmm If I was the manager of a club with as much money as man city I wouldnt be signing Bellamy, ok he's a good player but not a top four player look at his time with Liverpool??? maybe he's just a short term thing to keep city up?????? but must admit the thought of Bellamy playing with Kaka and Robinho is quite funny :-) lol
Good luck, united 3-0 derby tomoz night
Why would anyone want someone like Bellamy, I am lost for words.
Bellamy is awesome
ha ha ha rof lmao what a bunch of @#$%
Man city desperate to stay up! Kaka not coming in January. Will dump Bellamy in the Summer and get then some quality mercenary strikers in assuming they are still in the premiership.
