Serie A - Agent: Poulsen not set for Portsmouth

Christian Poulsen's agent has dismissed speculation linking the Juventus midfielder with a £6 million move to Portsmouth.

Reports in England claimed Pompey are eager to acquire the 28-year-old in the January transfer market.

However, Poulsen's agent, Joern Bonnesen, denied any contact with the Premier League outfit.

"It's not true," he told the Italian media. "No one has contacted us.

"Christian has no intention to leave Turin.

"Of course, It will be up to the the club to decide whether to transfer him, but only then will we take into consideration any offers that arrive."

The Denmark international joined Juve last summer from Liga side Sevilla.

Injury problems have limited Poulsen to only six Serie A starts with Claudio Ranieri's outfit this campaign.

  1. i think juventus should sell Poulsen. He wasn't good enough when he played. juventus need a better playmaker in midfield if they want to fight for league and champions league.
