Sheffield United are expecting to complete their takeover of Hungarian side Ferencvaros by early April.The Blades have had their offer to take control of one of Hungary's most successful clubs finally accepted and former striker Bobby Davison will take up a position of advisory coach with immediate effect.
United (football) chairman Terry Robinson will become Ferencvaros club president and the registrations of four Ivory Coast players are to be transferred to Ferencvaros from Blades-owned Chinese club Chengdu Blades.
Ferencvaros are currently in the Hungarian second division after being relegated from the top flight as punishment for financial irregularities in 2006.
The Hungarian government has completed a U-turn after their refusal last month to sanction United's takeover and stadium redevelopment triggered uproar among Ferencvaros fans.
