Macclesfield boss Ian Brightwell has urged his faltering side to "pull their finger out" when Peterborough arrive at Moss Rose on Saturday. The Silkmen are embroiled in a grim battle against relegation after Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Lincoln left them fourth from bottom of League Two.
Brightwell's men have lost four of their last five outings and now face a double-header at home against Posh and then Notts County on March 1.
"With sides around us winning, there is no getting away from the fact that we need to pull our finger out," said Brightwell.
"We have two massive games at home - first against Peterborough and then Notts County and we cannot afford to lose either."
