Accrington have re-signed former Stanley striker Andrew Mangan on a month-long loan deal from League Two rivals Bury. The Liverpool-born forward, 21, joined the Shakers from Accrington last August and has since scored five goals.

However, with Stanley boss John Coleman keen to boost his attacking options, Mangan has returned to the club on a temporary basis.

"It's good to have him back on board and he'll strengthen our forward line," said Coleman.

"Andy knows the club and we know him so hopefully it will work out well and he can score a few goals."

Coleman also revealed he is still searching for defensive reinforcements, adding: "Hopefully we'll have another defender in by the weekend."
