Five British teams battle in the last 32 of the UEFA Cup, Everton, Tottenham and Bolton leading ahead of clashes with Brann, Slavia Prague and Atletico Madrid, while Rangers visit Panathinaikos after a goalless first leg and Aberdeen are entertained by Bayern Munich after a 2-2 first leg draw.

All the matches take place on Thursday February 28th.

Everton v Brann, 2-0 [20:00 GMT]

On-loan Spurs defender Anthony Gardner is the only absentee for Everton - and he already carried his muscle injury on arrival in January. Spanish midfielder Mikel Arteta, South Africa winger Steven Pienaar and Denmarlk midfielder Thomas Gravesen all return after missing the first leg, a 2-0 victory in Bergen.

Leon Osman and Victor Anichebe scored in the away leg win.

Tottenham v Slavia Prague, 2-1 [19:45]

Spurs are without defenders Michael Dawson (hamstring), Alan Hutton (cup-tied), Gareth Bale (foot), Gilberto (calf) and Benoit Assou-Ekotto (knee), while midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is also out with a thigh problem.

Ledley King could also be spared to protect his troublesome knee ahead of the weekend's Carling Cup final against Chelsea.

Atletico Madrid v Bolton, 0-1 [19:45]

Bolton full back Ricardo Gardner, striker Heidar Helguson are out injured while new boys Gretar Steinsson and midfielder Tamir Cohen are cup-tied having already played in the UEFA Cup for AZ and Maccabi Netanya respectively.

Atleti are without Sergio Aguero - suspended for spitting in the first leg - and Raul Garcia, while keeper Leo Franco, defenders Georgios Seitaridis and Juan Valera, and midfielders Ze Castro, Thiago Motta and Simao Sabrosa are all out through injury. Winger Jose Antonio Reyes returns after injury.

Panathinaikos v Rangers, 0-0 [17:00]

Rangers are without Jean-Claude Darcheville (suspended), Steven Whittaker (hamstring injury) and DaMarcus Beasley (knee).

Striker Daniel Cousin travels with the squad despite being in the process of sorting out a proposed move to Fulham, but with Kris Boyd, Steven Naismith, Nacho Novo, Thomas Buffel and Alan Gow all available is unlikely to start.

Bayern Munich v Aberdeen, 2-2 [17:45]

Aberdeen are missing Jamie Smith, Derek Young, Jackie McNamara, Richie Byrne and Dan Smith through injury, although Richard Foster and Andrew Considine should be fit to face Bayern.

The Bundesliga leaders are without France midfielder Franck Ribery, who is expected back in full training after the game, while Argentine defender Martin Demichelis is also ruled out. Bastian Schweinsteiger is a doubt and missed training ahead of the match as a precautionary measure and a decision over his inclusion will be taken in the morning.
