Clarets and Blues clash postponed

Burnley's npower Championship home game with Birmingham on Tuesday March 6 has been postponed.

Blues put in an impressive display to hold Barclays Premier League giants Chelsea to a 1-1 draw in the FA Cup fifth round on Saturday and the replay will take place on the intended date for their trip to Turf Moor.

A new date for the game is yet to be arranged.

  1. Couldn`t agree more gents. It`s great to have a cup run­ and beat the likes of Chelsea (hopefully,) but if we­ progress towards Wembley we don`t want to be looking at­ the Championship table and looking at teams with points­ while we have games to be played in hand. A good cup­ run doesn`t get you promoted, nor having to play two­ games a week in the final weeks of the season!!

  2. you are right...we seem to be playing catch up ..points­ in the bag puts pressure on others ...games in hand­ don't!

  3. Fine just as long as they KRO and remember that­ priority is is Prem return. Games in hand are one­ thing but backlogs are another - these games are­ "must win" games to make it certain
