Armstrong hoping for early return

Sheffield United midfielder Chris Armstrong hopes to be back in action within four weeks after undergoing surgery on his groin injury.The 25-year-old had an operation this week to repair a groin tear, but is expected to return before the end of the season.

Armstrong, who was signed by former Blades manager Neil Warnock for £100,000 from Oldham in the summer of 2003, has been a regular under previous boss Bryan Robson and current manager Kevin Blackwell this season.
