Fairclough in plea to Bees fans

Thu 20 Mar, 06:15 PM

Barnet manager Paul Fairclough has called for the Underhill crowd to get behind his side as they prepare to face Lincoln City.A dire run of form was halted with last week's 3-1 win over Chester but the Bees are still not assured of their Football League status.

Fairclough said: "Let's get behind the club and put any differences behind us. If you love the club, as we all do, we should get behind it. Whatever our differences, we all want to see it do well.

"There are 11 games to go. We might need three more wins for safety. Who knows?

"When you bring on the bigger teams, we usually respond, but Chester were a bottom team and we've responded much better this time.

"That will stand us in good stead against the lower teams we have to face over the next few weeks."
