Thu 20 Mar, 06:15 PM

Gillingham have recalled Luis Cumbers from a spell of work experience at AFC Wimbledon and he could be involved against Bournemouth. The 19-year-old striker, who also spent time out on loan at Grays earlier in the season, has scored four goals in seven appearances for the Dons but has yet to notch a senior goal for the Gills.

"We have recalled Luis because he is a striker that has been scoring goals and he has got a fantastic opportunity to be in the 16 for this Saturday," confirmed Gills boss Mark Stimson.

Captain Andrew Crofts, meanwhile, has been granted permission by Wales to play against Port Vale on Monday.

The 23-year-old is in John Toshack's squad for the international friendly with Luxembourg on Wednesday.

And Stimson is running the rule over Donovan Simmonds after handing the Coventry youngster a trial at Priestfield.
