Stoke midfielder Liam Lawrence has signed a new one-year contract extension with the Championship leaders.The 26-year-old joined the Potters on a permanent basis from Sunderland in January 2007 and has proved an inspired signing for boss Tony Pulis.
Lawrence has scored 14 goals this season and will now remain at the Britannia Stadium until summer 2012.
