Jari Litmanen has returned to first-team training, giving manager Roy Hodgson a welcome boost as Fulham fight to avoid relegation. The Finn turned 37 in February and has not played a competitive game since 2006 for Swedish club Malmo FF.
However, he may well have his work cut out if he wants to make the starting line-up with Brian McBride and Eddie Johnson in fine form.
Hodgson told the club's official website: "I am delighted to have Jari around. He's certainly not match fit at the moment but he might just get there."
