Priest leaves Millers post

Rotherham United's head of youth development Mick Priest has resigned his position after less than a year in the job.Priest joined the Millers' youth academy in July 2007 and becomes the first member of staff to leave the troubled League Two club since they went into administration for the second time in 18 months on Tuesday.

"I have really enjoyed my time at Millmoor and have made some great friends," Priest told the club's official website.

"I really hope the club can get over these troubled times and I would like to wish everyone at the club all the best."

A spokesperson for Rotherham added: "Everyone at the club wishes Mick all the best and would like to thank him for all the work he has done while at Rotherham United."
