Robinson in Swans fitness fight

Swansea travel to Southend for Friday's clash without striker Febian Brandy and with midfielder Andy Robinson facing a late fitness test.Brandy, on loan from Manchester United, was sent off in Tuesday's 2-0 win at Bristol Rovers and must now serve a three-game ban with Jason Scotland and Darryl Duffy poised to continue alongside each other in attack.

Robinson, meanwhile, sustained an ankle injury against Rovers, but should be involved at Roots Hall.

Defender Garry Monk (back) was expected to return to action against the Shrimpers but has suffered an injury setback and is likely to miss the next couple of games as a result.

Marcos Painter (hamstring), Paul Anderson (hamstring) and Andrea Orlandi (knee) all remain stranded on the sidelines for the League One leaders.
