Chris Coleman believes the England Under-21 call-ups of Scott Dann and Dan Fox sends out a clear statement of intent about Coventry's future. The defensive duo arrived from League One side Walsall in January, with Sky Blues chairman Ray Ranson instrumental in tying up the deals.
Coventry manager Coleman said: "The chairman knows what he wants and he knows his football. We will not be trying to sign ageing has-beens.
"These two are classic examples of what we are trying to get at this club - good, young talent.
"You can build a team around players like that, and I am absolutely delighted for the pair of them."
