Wrexham's bid to beat relegation looks set to be boosted by the imminent return to fitness of Jeff Whitley, Neil Roberts and Danny Sonner.Boss Brian Little has been without Whitley (knee and virus) and Sonner (Achilles) at various stages of the last few weeks while Roberts (knee and shin) picked up an injury in last Saturday's 2-1 win over Bury.
Little has now moved to play down the severity of the injuries to Roberts and Carl Tremarco (ankle) and expects to have plenty of selection problems ahead of the Easter double-header against Brentford and Dagenham.
"We need to check on both Carl and young Neil, but their injuries are not as bad as we first thought," Little told the Daily Post.
"Neil (Roberts) should be training and both Danny and Jeff should also be okay, which is good news for everyone."
