Rally Mexico result amended.

Changes to top ten.

Peugeot privateer Ricardo Trivino has lost his eighth place finish notched up on the Corona Rally Mexico at the start of this month.

The local star had been excluded on day two of the event by the stewards after he was found to be wearing the wrong specification driving gloves. Trivino initially decided to contest the ruling and as such he was allowed to complete the event in his 206 WRC.

However when he failed to confirm the appeal, the decision of the stewards became final and subsequently he loses the position.

His misfortune means that Sebastian Ogier, who was making his debut in the WRC on the Leon-based event and who took the FIA Junior World Rally Championship win in Leon, moves up from ninth overall to eighth, something that gives the Frenchman the final 'senior' WRC point.
