Stoke City midfielder Liam Lawrence has agreed a one-year contract extension.
The 26-year-old, who joined City from Sunderland in 2007, has committed himself to Tony Pulis' side until summer 2012.
"I am absolutely delighted to have agreed a new contract here," Lawrence said.
"I have had a fantastic time with the club and I am determined to help bring Premier League football to Stoke City.
"The fans, the city and everything about my time in Stoke has been first class and I can't tell you how happy I am to have got the deal done."
Stoke paid £500,000 for the Irishman in last season's January transfer window, and Lawrence has repaid their faith this season with 14 goals - helping propel Stoke to the top of the Championship.
