Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore is expected to recall Ian Goodison for Thursday's clash with struggling Port Vale at Prenton Park.
The Jamaican international. who has recovered from a knee injury, narrowly missed out on a place on the Rovers bench in the 3-1 win over Hartlepool on Saturday, but is set to feature for Moore's side as they look to keep their play-off push alive.
Winger Chris Shuker could retain his place after playing 70 minutes at the weekend, following a three month lay-off with a knee injury.
Striker Craig Curran has shaken off his flu and should also be available.
Steve Davies (knee) remains Rovers' only long-term absentee, having been unavailable since September.
For Port Vale, defender Adam Eckersley could be set for a return to action, after coming through a reserve team game against Wolves.
Shane Tudor (knee) is out for the rest of the season for Lee Sinnott's men - who drew 3-3 with Leeds on Saturday and can move off bottom spot if they beat Vale.
