Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies is set to hand goalkeeper Iain Turner his debut against table-topping Wolves.

The 25-year-old has joined the Reds on loan from Everton until the end of the season and is likely to go straight into the starting line-up with Paul Smith making way.

However, Forest will be without fellow loanee Isaiah Osbourne who is still sidelined with the groin injury he picked up against Burnley and is unlikely to return for a fortnight.

Osbourne is the latest in a long line of casualties for Forest in recent weeks.

Ian Breckin, Guy Moussi, Kelvin Wilson, Paul Anderson and Joel Lynch have all been sidelined and will face late fitness tests ahead of the clash at the City Ground.

Wolves winger Matt Jarvis is unlikely to be considered for trip across the Midlands as manager Mick McCarthy is wary of rushing him back from a knee injury too soon and causing further damage.

The league leaders enjoy a 16-day break after the clash at the City Ground and it is likely Jarvis will return in time for the crucial encounter against Birmingham on April 6.

Nigel Quashie was just one of a host of first-team players involved in Tuesday's friendly victory over Rushden as he looks to regain match fitness after being sidelined with a chest infection.

The on-loan West Ham midfielder could be in the reckoning for a game which will see over 5,200 Wolves fans make the trip to the East Midlands.

Defender George Elokobi has started light jogging after his knee injury sustained last August, while Matt Murray will hope to get to the same stage within the next two months. Fellow goalkeeper Carl Ikeme continues his recovery from a back problem but it is too soon to put a date on his return.
