Lincoln assistant manager Iffy Onuora admitted he was delighted with his young side's display following their 3-1 win against Brentford.Bees goalkeeper Simon Brown gifted Lincoln the lead on 39 minutes but Nathan Elder headed the visitors level before the break.

However, veteran striker Jamie Forrester restored Lincoln's lead on 67 minutes with a free-kick before midfielder Lee Frecklington headed home late on.

Onuora said: "We spoke to the players before the game about getting back-to-back wins and finishing the season in a positive vein and that is what we have done.

"I was delighted for Martin Pembleton and Gary King, they are two young lads.

"It is a testament to the youth development work that goes on at the club, and it is a testament to the chairman and the board who have invested in the youth policy when other clubs chose not to."
