Manager Russell Slade hailed his battling Yeovil side as they beat Swansea to banish all fears of being dragged into the relegation fight.Goals from Terry Skiverton and Aiden Downes put the Glovers on top, but although Andy Robinson pulled one back in the 78th minute, the Swans could not get on level terms.
Slade said: "It ended in an ideal way really as Swansea are the best team in the league and fully deserve to be champions, while we don't deserve to be fighting it out at the bottom.
"They were on top in the early stages, but never hurt us and perhaps we should have scored a couple more goals.
"Success for Yeovil is staying in this division and I'm glad to be able to say we have now achieved that for this season."
