Dean Wilkins has pledged Brighton will go all out to win their last two games after a win over Hartlepool maintained their slim play-off hopes. The Seagulls - four points off the top six - must visit Bristol Rovers before hosting Swansea on the final day of the campaign, and Wilkins claims they are determined to keep their season alive.
He said: "It was a priceless goal from Cox and now we need to win our next two games. We had to beat Hartlepool to keep ourselves in it and will fight on until the end."
Glenn Murray headed Brighton into the lead from a Cox cross just before the break, but Joel Porter levelled for Hartlepool after a shot from substitute David Foley was blocked by goalkeeper Michel Kuipers.
Cox latched onto a cross by Murray to fire the winner two minutes from time, but Wilkins revealed he came close to taking off Cox before making three second-half substitutions.
"Cox was close to coming off, his ball retention was disappointing for him. But, as a team, we struggled to maintain possession in the second half," said Wilkins.
