Said Haddou of Bouygues Telecom won his second Tro Bro Leon in the space of three years as he outsprinted Stephane Bonsergent and Lilian Jegou (both Bretagne-Schuller).

The Bouygues Telecom team were smarting from their poor performance in Saturday's Tour du Finistere and three of their riders attacked early.

However, it all came down to a sprint, but Haddou had enough power to add to his 2006 triumph in the race sometimes known as "Le Petit Paris-Roubaix" due to its similarities with Paris-Roubaix.

With the win Haddou moves up to fourth in the French Road Cycling Cup standings after five races.

Besson Chaussures-Sojasun rider Jimmy Casper finished 10th in the Tro Bro Leon and his 143 point total in the French Road Cycling Cup is more than double the amount of his nearest rival Romain Feillu (62 points)
