Swindon boss Maurice Malpas has revealed he is waiting to hear back from two players on whether they have decided to sign for the club. The Scot has been busy scouring the market for new additions as he looks to build a squad capable of mounting a sustained challenge for promotion from League One next term.
He admitted the pair are currently weighing up their options but believes the Robins represent an attractive proposition to potential signings.
"I have spoken to two players about joining Swindon Town and spoken with a number of agents too. Players get paid until June 30 so there is no rush on their part," Malpas told the club's official website.
"There are several factors involved in trying to attract a player to the club, with location and finance two key ones.
"Hopefully we will be in a good position on both of those fronts. The players I have spoken to have gone away to speak to their agents and families before making a decision."
