Bradford City manager Stuart McCall has lost out in his bid to sign Watford's teenage goalkeeper Scott Loach on a permanent basis.Loach attracted the attention of some Premier League clubs during an impressive three-month loan spell for The Bantams after arriving at Valley Parade on January 28. He made 20 appearances.

McCall told the club's official website: "We would definitely have liked to have kept Scott and it might have been different had Watford gone up.

"He did very well for us and it was a deal which worked both for us and Watford."
