Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey cannot wait for team-mate Matt Murray to return to fitness and challenge him for the number one spot at Molineux.
Murray been beset by injuries for the last two years and is currently battling his way back from surgery to repair a ruptured patella tendon suffered while on loan at Hereford - where he was sent to build up fitness following a long-term knee problem.
And with the former England Under-21 international targeting a return in time for Wolves' foray into the Premier League next season Hennessey, who has worn the number one jersey for most of Murray's absence, is looking forward to the competition.
"I want Matty to get back so we're all challenging for a place," he told the club's official website.
"He is a Premier League goalkeeper and will want to get back there again. I want him back fit and training with us again."

xs. it took you 5 days to think of that! not saying hennessey is bad, he is a good keeper but we need someone else with a little more top flight experiance than what he has, also murray is also a good keeper but has yet to play top flight football. so my point being is we need a better keeper because we outscored the entire league last season but let in a few more than we should have done! so we are not bickering like little girls, just puting our point accross
Gentlemen please, your team won't get anywhere in the prem with fans that bicker like little girls. Got that pal? Also as a neutral (and genuine supporter of the greatest team in world football) I have to say that Hennessey is awesome, he has played well in international games and has a bright future ahead of him. I'm not being funny, but you wouldn't have won the championship without him. So don't slag him off now, coz there are only a few good keepers full stop - try naming more than 8 top class keepers in England. VDS, Cech, Reina, Almunia, Schwarzer and Jaaskelainen..... I'm done already! (and not one of them is British)
simple PAL! wayne has not got the experiance for a keeper in the premiership because he does not assert himself enough and matt is to injury prone to last a season! does that answer your question PAL!
Correct me if I'm wrong Pal but how would you Know How many games has either played in the prem Kites came from none league what if we had said the same about him, Same as always don't give em a chance, Ive been a suporter since 53 and it never changes. Cheer em on for a change!!!
no offence to both keepers but they are not good enough for the premiership. we need to spend in that department!
