Rangers defender Christian Dailly will shrug off the disappointment of missing out on a first championship medal on Sunday - as long as he gets his hands on the Clydesdale Bank Premier League trophy.
After being marooned in the reserves for most of the season, injuries have handed Dailly his big chance at the business end of the campaign.
The veteran stopper has been involved in nine of the last 11 games in all competitions, and has started six times. And after an unspectacular career which has taken in spells at Derby, Blackburn, West Ham and Southampton, the 35-year-old is on the brink of finally landing a league title.
It would be particularly sweet to celebrate the achievement at the club where he began his career, Dundee United, with Rangers two points clear of Celtic going into Sunday's final game of the SPL season at Tannadice.
He told Rangers News: "I would love to win the title, not for myself, but for the club. It would mean so much.
"If we can do it, I might not even play enough games to get a medal, but that's not the issue. I see what everyone has put into this season and the team and the club deserve it."
