Barcelona midfielder Deco has asked for more time to consider his future following interest from Chelsea.
The Portugal international has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League this summer and has been tipped to follow outgoing national team coach Luiz Felipe Scolari to Stamford Bridge.
"I know about the interest of Chelsea as well as other teams," said Deco after Portugal's elimination from Euro 2008 at the hands of Germany.
"But I still have to make a decision.
"I have to speak to Barcelona and soon there will be developments."
The 30-year-old is under contract at the Nou Camp until 2010 but the Catalan giants announced this week they no longer require Deco's services - a move which did not surprise the experienced midfielder.
"I knew that," said Deco, who has also been linked with Manchester United and Serie A champions Inter Milan.
"It's natural for (new coach) Josep Guardiola to say that as he is the Barca coach and he makes the decisions."
