Valencia are seeking exits for Spain midfielder David Albelda and Portugal defender Marco Caneira.
"We are looking for a move for Albelda, and if nothing comes up we will have to seek a solution that is satisfactory for both parties," Valencia's technical secretary Juan Sanchez said.
"We could know something quite soon [about Caneira] because we have been working with Sporting Lisbon for some time now."
Club captain Albelda, 30, has been on the verge of leaving ever since Ronald Koeman joined as manager in October and declared that he, along with several other senior member of the squad, would not play for the club again.
Albelda was shirked from the first-team line-up from December, and he opened court proceedings against the club in a bid to get his contract annulled.
Aftet those negotiations were not resolved, a spate of injuries in the squad and the sacking of Koeman led to Albelda returning to the first-team for the final three matches of the season by caretaker manager Voro (pictured, left, with Albelda).
