Mickey Adams has promised to make fans proud of Port Vale again as they prepare for an assault on League Two.
The Valiants endured a disappointing campaign last season but and the new boss believes he can put smiles back on supporters` faces.
"When you analyse the clubs in the league, you do look at the level of support they can attract," he told The Sentinel.
"I felt Port Vale was a club, which if we could get going in the right direction, would have the support.
"They want their players to show pride and passion when they cross that white line in a Vale shirt - it is my task to make that happen."
