Iain Dowie saw his Championship promotion favourites secure a comfortable 3-1 victory against Blue Square Premier side Stevenage on Saturday.Goals from Hogan Ephraim, youngster Romone Rose and Matteo Alberti saw QPR ease into a three-goal advantage but a late consolation goal from Boro striker Iyseden Christie was not enough to effect the end result.

Rangers could have made it four in the last minute but Emmanuel Ledesma could only fire his shot wide from close range.
