Godolphin's Music Note put up an impressive performance to win the
$300,000 Coaching Club American Oaks by 11 lengths at Belmont.
Leading two furlongs out in the hands of Javier Castellano she stormed clear of the opposition to record her second successive Grade One victory.
In second place was her stablemate Little Belle, who was six and three-quarters of a length ahead of Flaming Slew in third.
Music Note was following up her win in the Mother Goose Stakes for her fourth win in five starts.
Trainer Saeed bin Suroor said: "She has really improved from her last race. She showed a different class than the rest of them. I told the jockey to keep her nice and relaxed.
"She looked like she was stronger than her last race. The plan is to take her to the Alabama Stakes at Saratoga next month," he told www.bloodhorse.com.
